The first Wyckoff Library was started in 1921 called the Woman’s Work Committee. They formed the Wyckoff Public Library Association. The library’s first home was a small house rented from Peter Van Houten on today’s Main Street. The library opened with 600 volumes, mostly on loan from residents. After moving to Franklin Avenue and then Morse Avenue, the current library was erected on Woodland Avenue in 1970.
