November 27, 2018 Wyckoff Public Library Meeting and refreshments at 7:00 p.m. Program begins at 7:30 p.m. The Wyckoff Historical Society presents Paul Frost, President of Friends of Long Pond Ironworks. Long Pond Ironworks was founded in 1766 and operated continually until 1882. Today, the ruins of three furnaces and other unique structures remain in a beautiful setting within Long Pond Ironworks State Park near the New York border in West Milford, New Jersey. Stone Carvings, Lettering and Tombstones

  Stone Carvings, Lettering and Tombstones Speaker: Robert Carpenter Master craftsman, Robert Carpenter, with his combined engineering and sculpting skills necessary to preserve historical accuracy, will provide a hands-on demonstration of headstone repair, particularly of those at the Union Cemetery in Wyckoff.
