The Spotter Tower of Wyckoff

The Office of Civil Defense was established in May, 1941. Two days after the attack on Pearl Harbor the Civilian Defense of Wyckoff was formed. The Spotter Tower was established the following year and was staffed twenty four hours a day all year round. The tower was an important part of the Civilian Defense of Wyckoff; men, women and children served with pride and honor during World War II. This program will take place at the Wyckoff Pubic Library
at 7 pm to 8:30 pm.
A display of Spotter Tower equipment will be on display before and after the talk.
